We love to look after your doggy
Our aim is to make each walk the highlight of your dogs day, giving he/she a chance to socialise, exercise & explore new sights & smells. Long & regular walks provide your dog with the stimulation & purpose that will help prevent separation anxiety issues which can lead to chewing and misbehaving.
We always recommend meeting both you and your dog first to discuss personal needs, temperament and to determine whether your dog is friendly enough for a group walk or would benefit more from a solo walk.
Experience has shown that this approach provides reassurance for you and helps make your dog feel secure and happy.
eat, sleep, walk, repeat
We can walk your dog with 3 other dogs to socialise them and to ensure that they still get enough attention each. Or we can provide solo walks or runs for dogs that are more active or prefer to be on their own. All dogs are walked through local parks and woodlands on leads unless written permission is given to allow your pet a free run.
Your dogs exercise needs will be matched to the appropriate level of physical activity, there will be various routes and lots of ball games. In wet weather your pooch will get a good towel dry down, so you won't come back home to a mess.
Services
Group walk for 1 hour, with 3 other dogs = £15
Additional dog half price
Solo walk for an hour = £20
Solo walk for 30 mins = £10
Dog sitting per day (includes 2 visits & a 1 hour walk &) = £25
Cat sitting = £9 per day (includes 20 minute stay to feed, empty litter tray and provide comfort & attention).
Puppy sitting = £10 & can include 30 min walk or just playtime (depending on requirements)
Doggy outings = £35 and includes 4 hour trip to beach or woodland area.
Prices include water, treats, poop bags, clean towels for drying and travel time.
About Heads & Tails
My name is Liz and I own Heads & Tails. I have lived in Brentwood for almost 20 years. I have a wide knowledge of the area, where is fun to walk & roam, what parts are too busy and where is safe and a good distance away from traffic. I am a keen runner and walker who, after working for the Police for 25 years and childminding for 6 years now feels its time to use my love of fitness & the outdoors to aid me in running a business which suits both my active lifestyle and love of dogs.
Dogs have been a constant throughout my life. I myself own a French Bulldog whilst my husband, a Police dog handler, has a German Shepherd. I love all breeds and enjoy exercising with them, giving them freedom to explore and play. This ensures that they are fit, happy, healthy, active & entertained.
Apart from the experience I have gained with my dogs over the years, I have also completed
Dog walking & Pet Sitting, Canine Psychology & Canine First Aid courses.
Head & Tails is fully insured and CRB checked.
